BROWNFIELD GRANT AND LOAN AWARDED FOR REDEVELOPMENT OF FORMER LANDFILL IN PLYMOUTH

APPLIED ENVIRONMENTAL and Jamieson Development Consulting's client receives a $535,000 Brownfield Redevelopment Grant to install a vapor mitigation system and a separate $1 million Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE) Brownfield Redevelopment Loan will be used to offset the cost of special deeper foundations needed on the land.
The property is a former landfill that will be turned into approximately 120 apartment units.
