Transaction Screen

Picture
This level of due diligence does not include research into historical uses of the property; therefore, this scope of work is best suited for properties where the owner or other party is very familiar with the property and its history.

The Transaction Screen Environmental Site Assessment (ESA), American Society for Testing and Material (ASTM) E 1528 Standard, is closely related to the Phase I ESA.  The scope of work is reduced and includes the Transaction Screen Questionnaire, site reconnaissance, Sanborn fire insurance map review or review of local fire department files, and a review of state and federal environmental databases.
